Subjective:The patient is a 76 y.o. male, seen for 8 year post treatment examination, following posterior mandibular dental implant reconstruction.
Objective:Medical history revealed a PCN allergy. Operations included a cholecystectomy and angioplasty. Medications consisted of ecotrin and hydrochlorothiazide. Oral examination revealed missing teeth #'s 1,2,16,17,18,19,30, and 32. Root canal therapy was noted on teeth #'s 15, 21, 28, and 29. PFM crowns had been fabricated for teeth #'s 13, 14, and 15. Four unit fixed partial dentures were used in the right and left mandibular regions, with an endosseous IMZ implant as an abutment on the left.
