Case of the Month


August, 1999

Subjective:

The patient is a 52 y.o. female, referred to our office for evaluation and treatment of her Class II facial profile. The patient sought treatment for correction of her facial profile. The patient desired improvement in her chin profile and was not interested in orthodontic treatment.

Objective:

The patient has no allergies. There are no serious illnesses. Oral examination revealed Class II facial profile with anterior-posterior incisor discrepancy.

Assessment:

  1. Microgenia
  2. Mandibular Retrognathia
