Subjective:
The patient is a 8 y.o. male who was kicked in the face by a horse.
Objective:
Medical history was negative. Oral - Facial examination revealed the patient to have a through and through laceration of the superior labia, creating a traumatic cleft lip. The anterior nasal spine was fractured in addition to the nasal bones.
Assessment:
- Through and Through Facial Laceration of Superior Labia
- Nasal Fracture
Plan / Treatment:
- Closure of Facial Laceration under General Anesthesia
- Reduction of Nasal Fracture
3 Weeks Post Operative
