Dr. Marciani has recently learned of his selection by the William J. Gies Foundation for the Advancement of Dentistry, Inc. as the recipient of the 1999 Gies Award in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The award will be presented at the annual meeting of the A.A.O.M.S. in September.
Dear UKOMS Alumni,
First, congratulations to Mickey and Beth Lindsey for hosting a terrific UKOMS Alumni Dinner Saturday night in New Orleans at Patout's Restaurant on the famous and quite entertaining Bourbon Street. The night was highlighted with renewing friendships, news from the Bluegrass country, and hot and spicy cajun food. Thanks to Jerry Merrell for sharing his after dinner stogies. Next year the AAOMS meeting will be held in Boston , Joe and Cauleen Fennelli will be our hosts. Please accept my apology. I informed you that our webpage could be found on your search engines by typing "UKOMS", however, unfortunately, it didn't target our page. I have asked Steve Tucker, our faithful and cerebral, webmaster to contact Dr. Marciani to have the address sent to our alumni so you can enter it, then bookmark it for easy access.
