We are pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony M. Spina, D.D.S., M.D., as assistant professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Spina attended Loyola University where he received both his undergraduate and dental degree. Dr. Spina continued his training after dental school at the State University of New York at Buffalo where he earned his medical degree and completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He then spent one year in Gainesville, Florida as a fellow in Facial Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Spina has research interests in cosmetic surgery and post-traumatic facial conditions. He has broad clinical interests and will assume primary responsibility for cosmetic facial disorders, temporomandibular joint disorders, and selected had and neck oncological conditions.
