UKOMS Alumni Dinner / Seattle 1997
| The Harbor Club located on the 17 th floor of the Norton Building , 801 Second Avenue, Seattle, Washington was the September 20, 1997 site for the annual UKOMS alumni dinner. Lisa Marsh, Dr. Ron Marsh, and Dr. Denise Clarke were superb hosts for the evening. The elegant setting offered majestic views of Mount Rainier, Elliott Bay, and the Olympics. Following a cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres our dinner included the following: |

- Harbor Club Clam Chowder
- Fresh Pacific Style Caesar Salad
- Northwest Seafood Display on Ice (oysters, prawns, cracked crab)
- Alder Smoked side of Salmon (with apple cider sauce)
- Aged Washington Prime Rib of Beef
- Steamed Clams and Mussels (with melted butter)
- Sourdough Rolls
- Warm apple berry tart with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce
Following dinner, Dr. Marciani addressed the extended family, bringing us up to date on the happenings at UKMC, UKCD, and UKOMS. Dr. Marciani recognized and applauded Dr. Matt Hall for his contributions to the program during his chairmanship. Dr. Hall is now in private practice in Florida. Introduced to the family was new Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Anthony Spina. Other new arrivals discussed, included future UK WILDCAT and Hall of Famer Brady Morgan, born July 25,1997 to Marisa Marciani Morgan and Keith Morgan of Henderson, KY. Keith is the offensive coordinator for the undefeated (7-0) top ranked AAAA Colonels. "Stand by to stand by", I see the potential for more cyber news about this little fellow. I have had the honor and pleasure of seeing the young man, and he has good genes. Hendra and Dr. Marciani will undoubtedly find their way to western Kentucky more often. As the story evolves I will keep you posted.
The floor is open for discussion regarding next years reunion. The 80 th Annual Meeting, Scientific Sessions and Exhibition of the AAOMS is in New Orleans, LA. Prior hunting expeditions into Cajon Country have Dr. Synhorst as the lead scout in next year's search for a venue and menu on the bayou.
